WBF will provide additional administrative support by tracking the efforts of volunteers, writing and coordinating press releases and publicly recognizing volunteers. This activity is free of charge to those participating.
WBF’s activities are focused in the State of Wisconsin. The only exceptions are its website and the financial education Internet platform, which have circulation to interested parties across the country. WBF’s day to day activities are managed by its Executive Director and conducted mainly by volunteers. Activities are conducted throughout the year.
WBF is initially funded by a grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago to be used to promote consumer financial literacy, and donations, including a donation from WBA. Going forward, WBA expects to be funded primarily funded from donations from the general public, and grants from educational and other non-profit institutions.
